WUNDER KAMMER
OF CONTEMPORARY
ARTIFACTS
(research)

An exploration of the transformation of visual language through the digitization and materialization of historical artifacts. Using the Museum Wormianum and other cabinets of curiosities as a primary case sutdy, I look at how these objects can be translated into digital/media assets through already existing online digital media.

THE LIFE OF AN ARCHIVE:
VISUAL EXPLORATION OF THE
RIJKSMUSEUM COLLECTION
(visual research)

Aby Warburg revolutionized art history by analyzing how images interact across different eras and cultures. His relational archiving method challenges traditional categories by connecting canonized works through time. This project applies that approach to the Rijksmuseum’s digital collection to uncover new visual narratives.

WAR PATHS:
CARTOGRAPHY OF THE
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
(editorial)

War Paths is condensed in this book as one of the most significant components of my final degree project. It brings together all the processes I have followed throughout my journey as both a student and a graphic designer. This book offers the viewer a guided path through which to engage with the installation I have also produced.

VERTICAL CARTOGRAPHY
OF DEAD ENDS
(Fabric)

Vertical Cartography on a single digital archive to expose the hidden strata of computation. By drilling down through my laptop, I moved past the "weightless" interface to find the 37 distinct minerals that make our digital lives possible. To materialize this research, I have formalized the project into two pieces of fabric sewn together.

A.C.R ARCHIVE - A DESIGNER’S JOURNEY
(visual research)
(video editing)
(curation)

A video I created for my master's degree in Visual Communication at the Royal Danish Academy. It introduces my daily sources of inspiration, visual reaserch, and creative direction, which I regularly apply in my design practice. By drawing on a wide range of video and image archives, I have composed and audiovisual piece that clearly reflects who I am as a designer and the direction I aspire to take.

WAR PATHS:
CARTOGRAPHY OF THE
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
(installation)

War Paths culminates in an installation that combines colonial cartography, three dimensional scans, geographic information systems (GIS), laser cutting techniques, and extensive iconographic research. These elements transform cartography from a mere topographical representation into a tool of graphic, emotional, and political memory

MEMORIES OF A REPUBLICAN
MEMORIES OF A NATIONAL
(editorial)

This book pays tribute to my great-grandparents, Salvador Costa Montserrat and Miguel Castiella Idoy, who fought on opposing sides during the Spanish Civil War yet endured the same suffering. Divided into two sections—Republican and Nationalist—the work contrasts their experiences while also incorporating analyses by other authors to provide a broader perspective on the conflict.
